12:00 Noon – Opening Ceremony, Parade of Tartans, and Massed Bands on Main Field

1:15 – Bagpipe workshop, Look, See, and Learn with Pipe Major Richard Smith @ Dance Pavilion

2:00 – Children’s Scottish Athletics Games @ Children’s Field (Ages 6-12; Must be accompanied by parent; Go to Children’s Area for directions)

2:15 – SEVEN NATIONS @ Entertainment Tent

2:45 – Scottish Fiddle workshop @ Fiddle Tent along Creek Path, taught by Scottish fiddlers Jessica Craig and Debbie McDermott

3:00 – Border Collies demo @ ball field past vendors

3:00 – Royal Scottish Country Dance Workshop – Learn How @ Dance Pavilion

5:00 festival closes

6:30 pm Saturday Evening CONCERT @ Entertainment Tent featuring Blarney Girls (6:30-7:00 PM) and SEVEN NATIONS (7:15-8:30 PM).   $5.00 Admission; 12 years and under FREE; seating available under tent or bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and umbrellas

Also on Saturday evening in the parking lot just west of the square in Blairsville near the Historic Courthouse, Raven & Red will be performing traditional Scottish tunes: vocals, violin, and guitar.  Bring your own lawn chairs.

At both of the Saturday night events, Sunday admission tickets to Blairsville Scottish Festival and Highland Games will be sold for half price… get your for only $5 and enjoy a full day on Sunday at Meeks Park from 9 AM – 5 PM, beginning with the Kirkin’ O’ The Tartans worship service, Scottish Athletics, music, dancing, vendors, food, and more!  As always, ages 12 and under are free!
